For Participants
Browse events on the Calendar page, click on an event you're interested in, and click the registration button. You'll need to create a Startlek account (or log in) and complete the registration form. Payment is processed securely via Stripe or Fondy.
Cancellation is subject to the event's refund policy, set by the Organizer and shown on the event page. To cancel, go to My Profile - My Registrations and use the options menu on your registration card. For refund questions, contact the event Organizer directly.
Some events allow registration transfers. If available, you'll see the transfer option in your registration details. Go to My Profile - My Registrations to access this option.
First, check your spam/junk folder. Verify the email address on your Startlek account is correct. You can also view your registrations in My Profile - My Registrations. If the issue persists, contact [email protected].
Your bib number is assigned by the event Organizer and will appear in your registration details under My Profile - My Registrations once the Organizer has assigned it.
Yes. Startlek never stores your full card details. All payments are processed by certified payment providers — Stripe (international) and Fondy (Ukraine) — using industry-standard encryption (TLS/HTTPS).

For Organizers
Click For Organizers in the top navigation and apply for an organizer account. Once approved, you can create your organization and start listing events from your organizer dashboard.
Startlek charges 1% of each registration fee paid by participants. This fee is automatically deducted from your earnings. There are no monthly or listing fees — you only pay when participants register.
Payments go directly to your account through the payment processor (Stripe or Fondy). Startlek does not hold funds. Settlement timing depends on your payment processor's schedule — typically 1-3 business days.
You, as the Organizer, are responsible for setting and honoring your refund policy. Your policy must be clearly stated on your event page. Startlek's 1% service fee is non-refundable.
Yes, you can edit most event details from your organizer dashboard at any time. If you make significant changes (date, location, distances), please notify your registered participants promptly.
To temporarily stop registrations, deactivate your distances in the organizer dashboard — the Register button will disappear for visitors immediately. To fully cancel the event, use the "Cancel event" button on the event edit page — all registered participants will receive an automatic email notification. The refund terms in case of cancellation are set by the organizer in the event regulations — this may include a full or partial refund, transferring the registration to a future event, a discount voucher, and so on. Participants agree to your regulations when they register, so the regulations are the source of truth for any settlement. Startlek's 1% platform fee on already-processed registrations is non-refundable. Startlek strongly recommends having a fair and transparent policy — repeated participant complaints about violating your own regulations may result in suspension of your organizer account.
To collect registration fees, you need to connect a payment provider — a one-time setup before your first event.

Once registered with the provider, send us your merchant ID via the organizer dashboard or to [email protected]. We'll link your account, and payments will go directly to your bank account. Startlek automatically deducts the 1% platform fee.
